Brand Development & Style Guide –
National Album Day UK
The National Album Day is one of the yearly events organised by the Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA)
In 2020 The Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA) who organise the Nation Album Day UK decided they wanted to create a new theme for the NAD’s every year and the theme this year was the 80’s.

The idea was to keep the original logo design and brand and adapt it to reflect the 1980’s style with vibrant colours, crazy patterns and plenty of neon.

They also required brand guidelines or a style guide if you like. This included updated logos and design elements that could then be downloaded by all the retailers who wanted to participate and develop their own graphics and point of sale collateral for this promotion.

The brand was produced across a number of products including point of sale such as products displays, stickers and labels and also exhibition graphics like the vinyl banner shown here.

An example of how the brand was used on a page from the National Album Day UK website.

This was one of the concept designs for use on social media.
